Today I thought as my first post it would be a good idea to start off with a simple review. As the every so famous Anastasia Pomade is more on the expensive side, I though I would set out to find a good dupe. I searched online to see what I could find and I came across a drugstore brand called Freedom which do an eyebrow pomade very similar to the Anastasia on. When I found that, I decided to pick one up in superdrug and try it out.
As you can see the two look very similar and are very comparable. Both brands provide the same number of shades and they even have the same names. Obviously I got the shade Caramel Brown and I think it's a very good colour for me. The biggest difference between the two the price because the Anastasia one retails for £18 and the Freedom one retails for £5 so that is a difference of £13. Also in the Anastasia you get more product too. I have been using this on my brows for the past couple of days and I have been really enjoying it actually. I think it matches my hair really well, not too dark, not too light. Also, it provides very good colour pay off, it's very creamy and not drying at all. I would probably recommend this to someone who wants the Anastasia one because they could try this first to see if they like it and if not then they wouldn't have wasted lots of money. Although, I heard that this product's pigmentation isn't as dark as the other one but I still think it is of very good value despite the price.
